March - Rudolph Day

Welcome on this rather "blustery day" as Piglet & Pooh Bear would say.

Only managed a quick simple card today, with lots of bling which unfortunately you cannot see very well!
There are some great entries to Rudolph Day over at Scrappy Mo's again this month, am hoping to be able to comment on them all!

Be your own kind of Beautiful

Good morning, had a lovely day crafting yesterday and managed to get lots done, which I will be sharing over the next few days.

This tag was made using lots of different products.  I started out with a piece of White Whisper card from  Stampin Up and began sponging Crushed Curry ink all over it.  Then I used Mossy Meadow ink on a leaf stencil from Designs by Ryn .   I then stamped  and cut out out some dotty flowers by the Dreamees.  I then used my marker pens to colour the flowers.  Can you see the butterflies, these were an "accident", I had chopped off a couple of the petals from the smaller flower by accident and thought, hey that looks like a butterfly!

5. Typewriter Happy Birthday

Another card made at our class.  This one would be great for a male don't you think?

So this is the last card made at the class, hope you enjoyed seeing them.

4. May all your dreams come true

This is no.4 of the class cards.   The colours we used on this one, are colours that I would not normally use but I think that all put together they look very lush.  The die flower was made using a die that is apparently a "cut & tuck", a bit like the lace we used to do?   Very pretty.

3. Dragonfly brights

Think this one was my favourite make of the day.  The colours and the bling really appealed to me!

We used Brusho paints on watercolour card to make the fabulous background.

Oh I do love the bling!

2. 3D Box card

Good morning.  This little project took some time to make and certainly kept us busy for quite a while.  Not sure if you can see but the flowers heads were made using velum which were fussy cut, coloured and glittered.

The leaves were also glittered which unfortunately, you can't really get the full blingyness of it in this photo.

Thank you for stopping by.

1. Gardeners Delight

For the next few days I will be showing you some cards I made when attending a monthly class that I go to (if you want details of class, please let me know).

Wow this one was a lot of fun to make and I can tell you it kept us ladies really quiet (for a while at least!).
I'm not usually a fan of decoupage but thought this card was great to do and I can think of lots of people who would appreciate this card for their birthday.

Look at the brilliant little pockets full of "bits" !
We actually cut the card into the shape of the apron, looks great eh?

Thanks for popping by today.

Mum - Have a Wonderful Day

Good morning all, today is Mother's Day and I am thinking of both my mum and my mum-in-law and hoping that they are enjoying their day.

I used the lovely stamps from Sheena.  They are both slightly different.

Love their simplicity.  I think that is what I like doing most!

To all you mums out there, enjoy your day.
