Rudolph Challenge Feb 2014

Hi Sarn

Hope I am not too early this time!!

Two cards done & dusted for Christmas 2014.  Thought I would make some small ones for the grandchildren to give to their friends.

A trick I have learned from following your blog, I have included some snippets on this card (foiled card that had been well and truly buried for a  l-o-n-g time so will be popping over to the Snippets Playground with this one too!

Have a good day xxx
Jan

  1. Hi Jan . . . you are a little too early technically. You need to post your cards to your blog any time from the 25th of the month until just before the challenges closes on the last day. BUT . . . it is clear that you have specifically made these cards to comply with Rudolph Day (and the Snippets Playground) . . . so just this once, I'll let you off!

I really love these clean and simple cards with the cute Penny Black images. AND you used snippets too. Congrats. I'll see you in the playground later this week!

Thanks for joining in with Rudolph Day.

    Hugs, Sarn xxx

    1. Still confused? I saw that others had posted their challenges on your web page and thought that I was right this time? It is the 25th day isnt it? Yet my blog post at the top says Monday? Just looked at the right hand side of my blog and it says Pacific Southern time? Maybe this is why? Very very confused because I know I checked your blog today, saw that others had posted and went ahead with mine? Am I missing something?

  3. Two fabulous cards and love the CAS effect with these two really cute images.
Blogger can be so confusing, especially as I feel it is really leaning towards the American side of life, but for the past few months I have had to schedule posts and non of them have worked, set time, date and whatever, but didn't realise I had to hit the post button too... doh, it is all a learning curve and Sarn is very understanding, so don't lose any sleep.

    1. Thank you for your kind words Kath. I too have scheduled posts and not pressed the publish button! Funnily enough Sarn and I discussed this very subject on Sunday! I have managed to change all the time zone settings and hopefully there will be no more problems xxx Jan

  4. That explains it Jan . . . thought it was odd that when your blog post went "live" it said Monday. I thought I'd just missed seeing it the day before! If you go into your LANGUAGE & FORMATTING option from the SETTINGS and change it to LONDON GMT you should be fine from now on.

  12. Hi Jan, just wanted to pop on over and say thank you for the lovely comment you left on my Rudolph Day entries. These are so cute and exactly what I love to see, being a stamp addict, the cute images are the perfect star of these beautiful cards. I also love your cards made with Chloe's stamps, gorgeous inkyness. The little gift you made for swapping at SU is gorgeous too x

  13. Saw all the confusion about the time of scheduled blogs. Just to throw some more confusion in, if you accidentally hit "publish" before you schedule a time then you have to hit the "revert to draft" option before scheduling it. Otherwise when it it goes live it will go back to the originally date you published it. Does that make sense. So if on a Monday you meant to schedule a post for Wednesday but you accidentally put it live, you have to revert to draft and then schedule it. Otherwise when it goes up as scheduled on Wednesday it will have Monday's date on it. *sigh*

  16. I've had many, many headaches trying to get my head round dear old Blogger Jan but I just have to remind myself that it is free! I love your sweet cards - understated but still festive and fun. I should think the children will be delighted to have these to send to their friends! Vicky x
