Well it has been a little while since last blog post, something always comes up to take me away from my crafting, namely grandchildren!!
Anyway, have been searching for my mojo for a couple of weeks now, then I came across this old Penny Black stamp. I love this one so set about making a little card. Nothing fancy but it did help me want to do some more crafting. Don't you just hate it when you can't get in the "zone" !!!
I am looking forward to Playday on Sunday 23rd where the lovely playmates will inspire me again!
Used a few snippets here, hoping to pop over to the Snippets Playground with this one.
Enjoy your day everyone
Thank you for stopping by
Take care

Morning Jan . . . what a delightful and Spring-like card. I love the image and I see you've been inking round the edges again! I like your pretty flower in the corner too!

DeleteThis is a lovely card! That stamp is great and the inked edges and pretty flower finish it off so nicely.

ReplyDeleteHi Jan!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Playground! What a darling image, and I do so love the backing paper - genius to make a little matching flower too. Looking back I think you'd intended to link a couple of Rudolph Day cards back in February but can't track that you actually i did in the end. No worries, you're here now - the Playground is a little bit soggy but the swings have been dried so your knickers don't get damp when playing on them!
Come back soon - just going to follow you now.
Hugs
Di

Thank you Di, Looking forward to my visits to the playground. Nice to know that equipment dried off before use! Trying to explain wet knickers could be tricky!

DeleteThank you for your lovely comment, and I noticed your card had been showcased too. Well deserved as it is a very pretty card, and I really love this PB Hedgie image, and the brown plaid backing paper goes so well, and also that sweet little flower from the same paper finishes it perfectly. x
